Job Description Summary This position pertains to Aviation Systems Power Hardware, which works on Generation, Conversion and Distribution of electrical systems for Commercial and Military aircrafts at General Electric. Work type: Engineering Design and Product Development.

Job Description
As an intern, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the work coordinated by a Technical Lead. You will support the Technical Lead and the Hardware Engineers by helping to execute and complete all work related to their ownership within programs. This position will be focus on the electrical panels distribution systems team and their programs.

Objectives and Goals:

-Learn GE Aviation processes, tools and procedures

-Perform all tasks assigned by the Tech Lead or assigned supervising Engineer. Support Tech Lead with regards to the documentation, analysis and schedule.

-Participate in actual design, development and execution of our products.

-Be an ambassador to the local university.

Qualifications:

-Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic or Aeronautic Engineer in the last 4 semesters of their career.

-Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Assimilate data and act decisively, but in a collaborative manner.

-Work in a distributed/multi-site environment and under a matrixed responsibility organization.

-Provide a professional interface to both internal and external customers.

-It is a plus to have Capital Logic, Capital HarnessXC experience / knowledge.
