Job Description Summary Responsible for the migration activity of the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) to the Teamcenter PLM system and be the process owner for EBOM going forward. The job requires a deep knowledge of PLM systems, especially Teamcenter. It also requires familiarity with standard industry practices and business processes in the PLM domain.
Oversee the mapping of data sources and interfaces with the goal of ensuring data quality within the PLM System. Leads, consults or oversees multiple technical engagements around PLM systems. Work on highly complex projects that require in-depth domain knowledge in PLM. Contribute to the development of project and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across multiple teams.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
• Lead and coordinate the domain technical and business discussions relative to future design direction of the Engineering Bill of Materials. This requires coordination across multiple teams and domain areas such as Enterprise change management, Product Design, and Manufacturing.
• Analyze enterprise tools designs and develop a road map along with an implementation plan around PLM platforms.

• Experience in working on enterprise PLM systems, especially Teamcenter.

• Experience delivering large projects and programs in the Teamcenter domain.
• Experience in working with Teamcenter SOA, and Micro services

• Review and/or analyze and develop design at domain level and across multiple teams.
• Participate in the EA business-wide and domain governance model.
• Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities to multiple teams or complex scenarios.
• Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout the domain.
• Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
• Provide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout the domain.
• Able to partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs.
• Able to recommend allocation of budget to meet design initiatives critical to business/mission success and develop the business case for approval.
• Must be hands-on to be able to build POC's using emerging technologies and stabled hardened design patterns to be design enterprise class applications.
• Able to participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
• Collaborate with the business function to address data related problems in regards to systems integration and product structure.
• Enforces methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Responsible for vendor evaluation within PLM functional space, providing recommendations for selection, and on-going relationship management.
• Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness

• Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future design direction aligning with business goals.
• Gathers and analyzes data, develop design for the requirements at project level, aligning design requirements with software development strategy.
• Reviews exceptions and makes recommendations to the standards at a domain level.
• Demonstrate knowledge of business' structure (P&Ls) and the interplay of functions to support business goals; demonstrate knowledge of the business products, key processes, suppliers, customers and market/competitors.
• Collaborates with project management on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experience

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT

Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience with Teamcenter PLM. Bill of Materials and Change Management experience is desired.

Experience with Teamcenter SOA and AWC development.
