Job Description Summary

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day EHS support for facility
  • Strong focus on safety management
  • Execute routine analyses of EHS practices and policies
  • Partner with Operations leadership and hourly employees to ensure safety practices are understood and embraced
  • Work to identify safety concerns and develop strategies or plans of action to resolve
  • Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety)
  • 2 years' EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
  • GE will require proof of status prior to employment
