Export Control Material Classifier

Tasks

Duties and responsibilities:

• Classify material database in regards to export control regulations (US, EU and where needed national);
• Clarification of material related queries with suppliers, manufactures and/ or internal departments (stores, engineers, part numbers creation team etc.);
• Clarification of general decisions regarding classification;
• Participation in material classification quality audits;
• Assistance in internal and/ or external audits;
• Strengthening the LHT Export Control group network through sharing information and knowledge in regards to classification topics;
• Participation in improvement projects;

Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience of up to 2 years in relevant segment is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of logistics (physical logistics, transport, planning and purchasing) processes in general is an advantage;
• Ability to work with legislation documentation and their interpretation is an advantage;
• Eager and willing to learn new things;
• High conflict resolution skills, assertiveness and problem solving competencies;
• Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvements;
• Very good communication skills;
• Excellent command of English language;
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge about ERP systems (preferably SAP);
