easyJet has been decisive in meeting the challenges presented by the current pandemic by cutting costs, reducing our capex while retaining our fleet flexibility and securing an additional £2bn in funding. After grounding our fleet in March, we successfully resumed operations in mid-June, incorporating new enhanced bio security measures to ensure our staff and customers can fly safely. We will gradually ramp up our flying to around 75% of our routes in August, albeit with lower frequencies, so our customers can travel again.

The responsibilities are as follows.
Provides a true Business Partner framework to Ground Operations ensuring that the business owners are supported with the right insight and information at all times. Strong business partnering with cross functional stakeholders including wider finance team, Operations & commercial teams to ensure seamless communication and integrity of results and forecasts.
Business Performance and Analytical support:
Providing monthly detailed analysis and insight into the costs which can be used to drive business performance and improve the cost base, with responsibility for accurate weekly forecasting into consolidated PBT model
Driving confidence in numbers and providing insight into risks and opportunities. Creates budget pack for Airports detailing variances by country for presentation to senior management and for procurement.
Accounting & control:
Generates full month end analysis detailing variances to plan and tracking the effectiveness of cost saving initiatives. Responsible for the production of month end reporting packs for Airports
People Leadership, Relationships and Influence
As a member of the Core Finance team, the Finance Analyst Airports has responsibility for maintaining effective cross functional relationships, providing subject matter expertise to a diverse and demanding set of stakeholders and managing/ mentoring junior members of the team
