- The Need : A UI/UX designer with at least 5 years' experience
- The Opportunity : To contribute directly to the success of innovative cloud based unmanned aerial and autonomous flight operations ecosystem.
This position is responsible for UX design for a set of UAV/drone operations management products. As a UX designer, your job is to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients. Ultimately, you'll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients' needs and help us grow our customer base. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. You should also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
Your job will be to gather
and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers, flight
ops team, and engineers, illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process
flows, sitemaps, etc. and design graphic user interface elements, like menus,
tabs, widgets, etc.
You will be part of
a cross-disciplinary software engineering team engaged in the development of a
commercial system that will service multiple customers who seek to employ
aerial autonomous systems in a variety of industry sectors. You and your fellow
engineering team members will coordinate efforts with other teams with
complementary expertise. You will be in an environment that emphasizes strong
collaboration between engineering teams, product/business managers, end users,
and internal/external partners.
In this role, you
and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers, flight
ops and engineers
design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
page navigation buttons and search fields
UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
layout adjustments based on user feedback
to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math)

be willing to work out of an office located in Boston, MA
