Reporting to theHead of UK Stations, theGeneral Manager - Birmingham Airport will have overall operational and management accountability for theJet2 .comGround Operations Team, based atBirmingham Airport.Your main responsibility will be to ensure thesafe, efficient and effective delivery of the operation as well as the delivery of our famous VIP Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our business.

As the General Manager - Birmingham Airport, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure colleagues and suppliers deliver and exceed Jet2 .com standards for Safety, Customer Service, cost management, and ancillary revenues. You will leadtheGround Operations Management Team, across our customer facing and airside teams at the airport, ensuring that ourcustomer promise is consistently delivered, and required standards are achieved. You will be accountable for productive business activity and reporting and will enable your teams to work together to deliver a first-class customer service at the airport. You will build strong working relationships locally and partner closely withstakeholders, including allthird-party suppliersandairport management based atBirmingham as well as key stakeholders across the Jet2 .com and Jet2holidays business.

The successful candidate will already be demonstratingRole Modelbehaviours. You will have a proven track record inleadinganddevelopinglarge, high performance teams.You will have operated at a senior level within an airport environment, ideally leading both customer facing and ramp/airside operational teams. As an experiencedsenior leaderyou will have proven ability to effectively manage demandinginternalandexternal stakeholdersand demonstrate thecommercial acumenrequired to succeed in this environment.
