Role Summary:
The Master Planning & Execution Specialist role is responsible for enabling customer outcomes; ensuring that key customer and TAT related business KPI's are met by aligning current and future demand. This role will interact with Sourcing, Production and Engineering and will be responsible to understand market dynamics to ensure risks and opportunities are communicated to internal stakeholders. The Master Planning & Execution Specialist will lead capacity planning for the GE Hungary Repair site
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer/fleet demand dynamics are understood, measured, optimized and translated for the GE Hungary Repair site
  • Develop, measure and proactively analyze input signals from customers to ensure internal financial targets are met, or exceeded
  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and establish material demand signal for sourcing and operations
  • Lead comprehensive capacity planning for the GE Aviation Hungary
  • Analyze data to determine opportunities to optimize inventory, improve customer service levels, and reduce total costs, as well as highlight works stoppages, critical pacers (technical, material, capacity etc).
  • Ensure operational alignment with production plan and defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Actively partner with Material Coordinators & Production leaders in production planning and provide inputs from materials perspective
  • Participate and/or lead project teams to achieve desired customer outcomes and business KPI's
  • Deliver products as part of a team
  • Work on cross functional teams
  • Active participant in the GE Operating Standards
  • Adopt digital tool sets; collaborate with Digital/SAP team to proactively mature materials reporting and analytics capability

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School diploma or relevant technical school degree
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize and have a good combination skillset
  • Excellent communication skillset in verbal and written format
  • Has a strong team player mentality
  • Has a great organizational and influencing skills
  • Has strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring talent within organization
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution
