Role Summary:
GE Additive is looking for a Lead Advanced Engineer associated with the manufacturing process. Requires proficiency of complex and highly technical concepts and principles. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Defines and controls production process including tooling and equipment
  • Validates design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
  • Includes Manufacturing Engineers
  • Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Communicates across direct organization
  • Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
  • Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions
  • Works on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
  • Communicates across the function in area of expertise
  • Works directly with customer on applications, work instructions, specifications and requirements along with teaching customers how to run the equipment
  • Travels to customer locations

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Project
    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as required
