Role Summary:
The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will plan and schedule material/production needs while coordinating the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manages master production schedules, material processes and systems, prepares and updates production schedules and purchasing needs
  • Ensures operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
  • Optimizes inventory and process improvements
  • Develops new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
  • Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
  • Delivers products as part of a team
  • Works on cross functional teams
  • Understanding and working use of ERP
  • Excel pivot and lookup tables
  • Data analytics with accuracy and extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to review lines of balance
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution
    Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams
  • Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and resolution skills
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • APICS certification or training is desired
