General Electric Marmara Technology Center, member of the General Electric Company, is looking for a "NDT Engineer\" with qualifications below:
The successful candidate will:
•Become a Certifying Agent and Auditor in the area of NDT.
•Work with GE Aviation Quality Technology Center.
•Review, provide technical feedback, and approve supplier documentation such as technical processing plans, process qualifications and MRBs.
•Drive robust root cause and corrective action at NDT suppliers including those resulting in a quality escape.
•Lead/Support field related issues/projects.
•Execute NDT trainings to airline customers.
•Work with design, materials and testing engineers groups and comply with aviation quality standards for part conformance.
•Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements.
•Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements.
•Bachelors degree in Materials, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or college.
•Current or recent NAS410 / EN4179 Level 3 certification in either Ultrasonic Testing, Fluorescent Penetrant Testing or Radiography.
•Level 2 or Level 3 Certification in more than one NDT discipline per NAS410/EN4179 is a plus.
•A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering position.
•Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Must be capable of preparing technical reports and presentations to senior leadership levels within GE Aviation.
•Commitment to customer service.
•High level of written and oral communication skills in English.
•Proficient in use of Microsoft office tools.
•Knowledge on statistical analysis tools. 6 Sigma Greenbelt is a plus.
•Knowledge on CAD programs (Unigraphics or other)

•Proven experience in a non-destructive testing environment.
•MSc. in related technical domain.
•Proven knowledge of Ultrasonic testing/Fluorescent penetrant inspection and aviation specification requirements.
•Demonstrated ability to operate NDT processes in aviation industry.
•Demonstrated team-working capabilities.
•Proven self-starter and independent worker who can work with cross-functional teams.
•Ability to work with global, distributed teams to achieve results.
•Demonstrated strategic planning and manufacturing knowledge regarding testing and quality.
•In-depth understanding of engineering technology and tools.
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
