As a member of the airlines engineering and Maintenance Team you will be part of the team delivering Europe's highest technical dispatch reliability as recognised by Airbus.
The Duty Engineer will lead the Line Maintenance production team in delivering a robust and resilient operation to support the airlines planned and unscheduled maintenance requirements. Supportive of the easyJet culture, the Duty Engineer will actively promote engagement and recognition amongst the department. Performance management of team members to inspire and encourage individual performance and progression . As required the Duty Engineer may deputise for the Management team ensuring the continued smooth running of the operation and the delivery of a best in class maintenance service, maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence at all times.
> Deputise for the Management team during periods of leave or as the operation dictates
> Individual performance management of team members to drive performance and engagement
> Build strong relations with key stakeholders and third party suppliers to promote the One Team ethos
> To advise the Production Support team of any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme
> To define the priorities to the staff allocated to you to ensure that efficient use of resources are channelled to an on time and safe flight departure.
> To ensure that all documentation and its certification is completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Company procedures and legislation.
> To monitor the completion of Technical Delay / Out of Service Reports. Reporting significant defects, discrepancies, incidents, accidents and events as required by the company procedures.
> To ensure equipment, facilities, vehicles and premises in your charge are maintained to an acceptable standard of maintenance, appearance and in compliance with the company Health & Safety policy
> To assist in the departure of any Aircraft that may be preparing for departure at handover times
> Ensure accurate recording of all deferred defects in the shift handover log, as well as the Tech Log, and ensuring that any spares are ordered as soon as possible.
> To ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is accomplished to the required standards and the operating programme is achieved in an efficient and safe manner.
