Role Summary:
The TDI Lead Product Quality Specialist will provide support to ensure the process / product is designed, procured, and manufactured in accordance with customer and company Quality requirements in a rapid development environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Effectively drive all aspects of quality projects and provide abatement to compliance risks
  • Ownership includes both quality control and quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes
  • Support and implement Lean strategies while ensuring compliance to regulatory, customer, and company procedures / policies
  • Complete effective internal / external root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Act in conjunction with the program and product managers to release criteria and quality objectives
  • Ensure review of processes, procedures, quality objectives, QMS, and tools
  • Evaluate, publish and present quality metrics and test results to the project team and stakeholders
  • Use problem solving tools such as TOPS8D, Apollo, etc. in order to effectively provide solutions to business challenges
  • Author and revise Quality Systems procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality

Desired Characteristics:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
  • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience with measurement and programming
  • Recognized as an authority in a quality assurance field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to effectively lead in a team environment
