Role Summary:
The Lean Leader position leads improvement projects with a goal of enhanced business and customer impact through process effectiveness. The position of Lean Leader will lead the continuous improvement efforts across functions to enable effective change. Selected candidate will have deep technical expertise within the field they can leverage in this role and have comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and methodology.
Essential Responsibilities:
Additionally, as the Lean Leader, your responsibilities will include : 
  • Facilitate and utilize Hoshin Kanri to create short, intermediate, and long-term improvement activities 
  • Lead improvement projects with a goal of enhanced performance 
  • Drive lean activities at a global or local level including methods, tools, roadmap systems, and deployment. 
  • Drive communication and reporting rhythms 
  • Present projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB, SEB, VP) within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams 
  • Communicate solutions across their own function and with cross-functional partner organizations 
  • Develop & drive the lean vision and strategy for the business 
  • Use Value Stream Mapping to identify process improvement opportunities and priorities 
  • Present and track training on Lean subjects 
  • Lead Action Work Outs 
  • Coach and mentor employees on Lean concepts and actions 
  • Ensure sustainable practices through regular review, reinforcement, and recognition 
  • Work with functional groups such as Safety, Quality, Materials, etc., to align improvement priorities

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Strong experience of process improvement utilizing Lean
