Through the analysis of Fatigue Safety Reports and the assessment of incidents and near misses, you will support the collation of information to identify trends used by management for strategic decision making in the Fatigue Safety Action Group (FSAG). You will promote the Jet2 .com Just Culture and the anonymous, confidential reporting facility, in accordance with Company's Safety Management System.
The successful candidate will have previously operated as crew or worked in rostering / crewing, and therefore have a good understanding of operating a flying roster and a strong knowledge of the aviation industry. You should have a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, be approachable and empathetic whilst offering a high level of discretion. The ability to communicate empathically and effectively, both in writing and orally, is a pivotal part of the role used when investigating an incident and providing feedback on reports. The Fatigue Safety Investigator will also have excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Office applications, It would also be desirable if you are able to demonstrate experience of managing a database, preferably within an Airline Operations or Safety environment.Experience of developing and delivering training would be an advantage.
This role operates a 4 on, 4 off roster of 12-hour day shifts.
