Tasks

  • Define portfolio strategy and deliver customer value together with product development
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on strategies and priorities leading to product execution
  • Own profit & loss responsibility and business plan for your product portfolio
  • Drive product development with your team of product owners, architects,and designers
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements
  • Analyze data, user and business requirements and technology to make strategic decisions
  • Manage multiple products and priorities and ensure an effective and healthy organization by establishing clear and measurable goals
  • Cultivate the culture of self-organizing and autonomous teams by following the concept of collective ownership

Chief Product Owner
You define and deliver the vision and strategy for your product portfolio. You are responsible for the success throughout the entire product-life-cycle. You analyze customers' needs and market trends and derive product requirements. You develop the value proposition and manage the profitability.

Requirements

You are an ambitious, experienced product responsible ideally in a B2B context (mobile, web and/or data products). Moreover, you fulfill the following requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, aeronautics or another related area, or a combination of a similar education and professional experience
  • At least 8 years of work experience, thereof at least 5 years in product management/development
  • Experience to act strategically with an innovative, yet analytical approach
  • Ability to lead product managers and to work with engineering, design,and user research and to foster team spirit in a multicultural environment
  • Good self-organization skills, target orientated working style, and high reliability and flexibility
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with senior management and customers on all levels, ability to convey complex facts in a precise and easy to understand way
  • Strong English skills, German is a plus
