Powerplant is one of the key teams within our Engineering and Maintenance Department. The team is in charge of any on-wing and off-wing activities that are required to maintain easyJet's fleet of engines (CFM56 and LEAP-1A), APUs (Honeywell 131-9A) and nacelles, ensuring at the same time full compliance with the Continuous Airworthiness requirements of EASA Part M Sub Part G.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or aircraft engineer wishing to progress into an office-based role.

The Assistant Powerplant Engineer supports the Powerplant team in ensuring full compliance with the Continuous Airworthiness requirements of EASA Part M Sub Part G for all aircraft operated by easyJet.
What you need to do the role
To do this role you'll need to be someone with a good knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes and reliability management. You will be asked to manage complex data and perform detailed analysis. A strong general understanding of the Continuous Airworthiness requirements of EASA Pt M and the airworthiness regulatory framework. Good written and oral communication skills & be highly confident and experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Also, Motivated and committed to Continuous Improvement & flexible in approach and adaptable to change.. You will be asked to occasionally travel between the UK easyJet bases and supplier locations as required. Lastly an Engineering degree or similar industry recognised qualification would be preferable.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Hangar 89 London Luton Airport, and will be 40 hours per week
