Tasks

On top of being IT Project Manager for our flight operational system, you will work as an IT Platform Manager in the Lufthansa Group to manage the requirements, changes and provider of the central Lufthansa Group Operations Control platform.

• IT Platform Manager for Lufthansa Group flight operational platform
• IT Project Manager for Swiss flight operational system
• Responsible for change management
• Responsible for provider management
• Manage and coordinate critical operational processes for all Lufthansa Group airlines on the platform
• Lead platform workshops / task forces around technical topics and continuous improvement
• Ensure performance, stability, and security compliance for platform operations
• Ensure coordination between second and third level support (problem management)
• Support the stakeholders to specify their requirements and document solution proposals aligned with the IT guidelines and processes
• Enjoy communication with senior stakeholders and having a high focus on deliverables

Requirements

• University or college degree or similar education in IT or Computer Science
• Solid experience in Project Management, Agile product development and
  requirements engineering
• PMI certification or similar
• Practical experience with agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban or SAFe
• Experience with Cloud technologies (MS Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good communication skills on multiple levels
• Self-starter, solution oriented, with driving mentality and able to manage priorities
• High commitment and dedication
• Willingness to travel (Frankfurt and other destinations)
• Experience in flight operations (especially in movement control systems) is a plus
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) - German is a plus
