Tasks

  • First point of contact for internal & external interfaces
  • Perform export bookings and re-bookings
  • Execute and follow up short term sales activities such as offer special rates upon spot requests
  • Conduct operational supervision of special export and import shipments
  • Inform/advise customers about general rules and regulations in the air cargo business
  • Conduct post shipment activities such as irregularity and complaint handling, written statements
  • Initiate & secure time table preparation activities
  • Generating revenue by promoting Swiss WorldCargo worldwide Network and service solutions (products)
  • Find short term transportation solutions with providers such as ground handling agents, unit load device suppliers, local trucking companies
  • Give punctual support and deputize the Revenue Integrity & Sales Support Team by maintaining contracted rates in System, maintenance of external account data, as well controlling of manual invoices

Requirements
  • Business school level or adequate education in Air cargo / Forwarding Industry
  • Proven, successful experience in sales activity
  • Very good spoken and written German and English skills, French is an advantage
  • Good MS Office knowledge
  • Work effectively with others and be a team-oriented person
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Solution oriented thinker and ability to master difficult and challenging situations
