B1 or B1/B2 type rated engineer

Excel have a permanent role for a B1 or B1/B2 type rated engineer to support line maintenance on the Boeing 737 Classic, working 7 days on 7 days off shift pattern based in Scotland
For this role you don't need to be type rated on the 737 classic as our client will provide type training on the aircraft for suitable candidates with a view to extending this to 737 NG in time, so we are happy to consider anyone holding a B1 without type, or looking for new types in their licence.
Salary is £48,000 per year, with the type rating will be up to £51,350 per year.
The chosen candidate must have UK CAA PT 66 B1 AML without restrictions, B2 or restricted B2 along with a B1 would be an advantage (but not essential). EASA licenses will be considered however a UK license would need to be applied for. You must also have a minimum of 5 years working in an active a/c maintenance capacity and due to airside clearance, you must have the ability to provide 5 years of employment or gap references and also the freedom to live and work in the UK.
