easyJet Talented engineering & maintenance GRADUATE - a grad scheme with real spirit
Do you want to work for an innovative and exciting FTSE listed company?
easyJet has been one of the driving forces in aviation over the last 25 years, seamlessly connecting Europe with the warmest welcome in the sky. As Europe emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic, it represents a new dawn for easyJet and the Company is well placed to strengthen its leading position as a trusted brand offering value for money with an industry-leading network of primary airports.
Our culture, known as our orange spirit, is a real thing, embodies our people and is at the centre of everything we do. It's about embracing a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You need to have resilience to work here, we often say one easyJet year feels like three elsewhere, but the experience you gain is like no other.
Description
As a graduate of the Engineering & Maintenance Graduate Programme, you will spend the next two or so years really getting stuck into the challenges within the department, with opportunities to work in Fleet Technical Management, Powerplant, Fleet Transition, Maintenance Operations Control and more. You will go through a fast learning and development programme in a growing organisation, learning from industry-leading people and being exposed to business-critical projects.
Your two-year programme will be made up of placements within the core engineering functions:
• Supply Chain Management
• Fleet Technical Management
• Maintenance Operations Control
• Logistics
• Base and Line Maintenance
• Powerplant
You will work as part of these teams getting involved in a range of activities which might include analysis of aircraft performance, maintenance planning, core strategic development or business change programmes, or maybe carrying out quality assurance on projects and documenting the findings. Across all these activities you will be a cost champion and promote the core concepts of a lean environment.
The programme will deliver a truly international experience as we offer the opportunity to work with people from many different nationalities, be based in our main office in Luton and in other network locations such as France, Italy, Germany, Portugal or Switzerland.
easyJet is committed to developing talent and will provide you with the tools you need in order to let your career take off. During your robust induction programme, you will be exposed to the heart of our business which will develop your understanding of our culture and values. In addition to this you will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will provide you with business and career advice and support you to build a strong network within the organisation.
