Site Reliability Engineer in the technical helpdesk (m/f/divers)

Tasks

Your main tasks will include troubleshooting and improving services, developing and operating new concepts as well as solutions.

• Active participation in the further development and operation of our production platform with a focus on its highly automated, reliable and scalable operation
• Design, implementation, optimization and operation of applications and services
• Incident Management and Root Cause Analyses to identify error sources, problems and improvement potentials and to introduce them into the development process
• Coordination, implementation and adherence to error budgets
• Automation of all deployment activities in the software environment
• Establishment of a DevSecOps philosophy as well as measures to secure and further develop our CI/CD pipeline and the cloud landscape
• Introduction of new technologies and frameworks from the cloud, web, infrastructure and open source environment

Requirements

• Completed relevant studies or international degree of equal value with several years of professional experience
• Several years of practical expert knowledge in building, developing and operating cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge in the production of container-based applications as well as their deployment and orchestration
• Several years of practical experience around common CI/CD tools and their deployment
• Experience with Linux based operating systems
• Practical experience in the environment of SSDLC, OWASP and Cloud Security
• Very good communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness, as well as strong service and customer orientation
• Good analytical skills, distinct agile mindset, high degree of independence as well as a hands-on mentality
