Internship in Ground Operations Economics (limited 6 months, 80-100%, all genders)

Tasks

As a member of the Economics Team you will get a general and detailed view on the main cost blocks of Ground Handling, Airport and Air Traffic Control Charges. You are in close contact with the respective cost block specialists, accounting/finance departments, providers and authorities.

• Cost and invoice control of Ground Handling and Airport Charges
• Ensures correctness of invoices and costs as well as manage claims and credit notes
• Support the automated cost control process to receive the best possible match of the invoice and the internal calculations from the system
• Various analysis and smaller projects in cooperation with the respective stakeholders to reach cost saving potentials and improved processes
• Ensures the correctness of all updates of the Ground Operations contracts into the Contract Management Tool

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or an "HF" Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education
• Interest and Flair for the Aviation Industry, in particular Ground Operations
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to details
• High cost/benefit awareness
• Proactive and willingness to take over various tasks
• Independent working style and ability to communicate towards different stakeholders
• Flexible and open minded
• Team player
• Fluent in German and very good spoken and written English skills
• Very good MS Office skills
