Avionics Component Technician

Your main tasks include, among others:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionic units using state-of-the-art repair techniques and test equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications.
- Coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel.
- Interpret test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
- Troubleshoot avionics units to component level & sub-assembly level utilizing schematics and standard troubleshooting practices and procedures.
- Set up test equipment and tests electronic products using established test procedures and schematics.
- Make use of test and measurement equipment, Digital/Analog Voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, power supplies, and Automatic and Standard Test equipment, etc.
*All other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements
The ideal Avionics Component Technician should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Electronics experience desirable.
- An Avionics Technician will work with and repair a broad range of aircraft electronics from lights and panels all the way to guidance computer, displays and even weather radar.
- Must be willing to work shifts.
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
