Tasks

As a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/divers) you will create use cases, business scenarios, user stories and functional concepts based on customer information using requirements analysis methods.

In detail:

• Consulting of customers in technical questions & recording of user requirements
• Analysis & refinement of business requirements & underlying business processes & systems
• Creation & update of business concepts (e.g. business processes, specification, flow diagrams)
• Conception of system integration into the existing system landscape (e.g. Amadeus PSS, eRetail, Check-in)
• Specification of interfaces & interface processes to neighboring systems
• Contact person for the software developers
• Validation of problems & identification of change requests
• Active contribution of own ideas for use cases
• Creation of the basis for cost-benefit analyses for business cases
• Support for quality assurance & user acceptance tests as well as creation of test cases

Requirements

In addition to a degree, you will bring the following:

• > 3 years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of the airline business processes of the Lufthansa Group, especially in the area of e-commerce

• Very good knowledge in requirements engineering & business analysis
• Good knowledge & experience in the creation of functional concepts & process flows
• Very good knowledge of IT used in the airline industry & in business, system & failure analysis
• Good knowledge & practical experience in software development & CI/CD
• Good knowledge of agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe)
• Very good experience in provider & stakeholder management
• Willingness & initiative, ability to work under pressure as well as flexibility
• Good communication skills
• Precise presentation of complex issues
• Very good written & spoken German & English skills
