Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Administer RFQ (Request for Quote) packages compliantly and effectively. Compliance includes tagging, exporting and tracking Technical Publications dissemination. Requires working as the ARS (Asia Repair Solutions) focal point, effectively addressing technical, commercial and legal queries, or connecting Suppliers with relevant GE Aviation functions to assist, in order for them to return a competitive response to the RFQs.
- Analyse RFQ response, adhering to Sourcing Standard Work in Cost analysis. Includes groundwork to validate incumbent Source data and negotiate RFQ responses with Suppliers.
- Execute Change Management processes, not limited to: Component Repair Directory updates with CRD (Component Repair Directories) team, NPI initiation in myRepair, Technical Publication Revision tracking with Quality Systems (Librarian), Order Billing System and MRO transactions according to quality instructions and operations etc., until RRL10 (Full production capability).
- After RRL10, support production to better supplier performance in the areas of TAT (Turn Around Time), Yield, DR (Departure Deviations) activity, cost etc. Achieving these through, and not limited to: leading improvement projects, liaise with relevant Manufacturing and Repair Engineering functions, data analysis etc.
May support production in managing a relevant portfolio of repair capabilities. - Execute, track and report NPI activities, not limited to Repair Source Substantiation (RSS) logging and package preparation, sourcing scrap parts and spares to support industrialization etc.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Component Repair Activities such as Shop Operations, Customer Service, Repair Engineering etc. Experience in RSS or NPI activities would be an advantage.
