Director Technical Product Management - Strategic Solutions Leader

To enable this growth, the Digital Technology (DT) team will establish a foundational platform of enterprise software solutions to complement the existing product catalogue. The Technical Product Manager position will be the pivotal role in leading this transformation. The position is focused on partnering across the Aviation and Edison Works teams to deliver products that enable the transition of advanced program products into production operations. This role will lead a team of project managers, and partner with teams of technical product experts to deliver robust and scalable solutions. The Director is accountable for project management, planning, and execution of the project portfolio. All efforts will execute in phased deliverables across multiple years. Initial priorities will include customer contract, resource management, and asset management, as well as manufacturing execution and quality systems. You will formulate and execute a clear, strategic vision while balancing multiple stakeholders across functions/teams. You will direct the teams with a clear and descriptive set of requirements and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for features, defects, and technical debt.
Job Description
Responsibilities
o Lead a matrixed team of deployment leaders and functional experts to execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives, leveraging established blueprint capabilities, enabling strong collaboration with business teams, and minimizing deviations from commercially developed solutions for ERP, MES, and PLM solutions.
o Improve processes for repeatable deployments of the ERP blueprint to sustain business operations and support the expansion of the Edison Works business, in support of manufacturing, sourcing, service and finance capabilities.
o Drive strong business engagement to adopt the ERP blueprint.
o Drive the adoption of Lean, Problem Solving, and Agile to improve the speed and quality of our deployments.
o Project execution with strong local and business oversight to ensure successful business and ERP rollouts.
o Drive data readiness (Mater Data and Transactional).
o Partner with business and other Digital teams on deployment of transformational initiatives.
o Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change.
o Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
o Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
o Establish a culture of diversity & inclusion, innovation, high-performance, collaboration, respect, and integrity.
o Leads and executes hiring, retention, and talent development in an area of technical, application, and domain expertise aligned to team vision, building a more diverse workforce.

o Performs continued team financial reviews and ensures budget goals are met.
o Provides strategic inputs into Budget Review and other business activities.
Desired Characteristics
o Experience with Supply Chain management processes and tools
o Experience working with ERP enterprise solutions and their design and deployment
o Experience leading enterprise initiatives and large, matrixed working teams
o Active US DOD Security Clearance
o Understanding and knowledge of DT Security control frameworks (i.e. NIST, ISO, etc.) as well regulatory requirements impacting DT systems (i.e. DFARS, ITAR, DoD/MoD, etc.)
o Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
o Self-starter who collaborates well with others to solve problems
o PMP, ScrumMaster, Security+, or related certifications
Education Qualification
o Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years professional experience OR Associate degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
