Job Description Summary Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead quality in the commercial engines overhaul and new production area
  • Lead escapes root cause corrective actions analyses
  • Initiate and support operation for root cause analyses in major shop loss
  • Perform suppliers and internal audits
  • Host customer/regulatory audits
  • Report trends and lead root cause corrective actions analyses
  • Lead preventive quality in the area
  • Lead PFMEA
  • Support Lean Six Sigma projects in the area
  • Make sure shop is audit ready 100% of the time
  • Support engineering on any process change


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 3+ years of quality experience


Desired Characteristics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • PFMEA knowledge
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge
