Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus on projects / process improvement to ensure that products are manufactured with the appropriate safety, quality, delivery and cost properties,
- Drive and support Kaizen activities at all levels of the organization, train personnel to achieve a world-class lean process flow,
- Coach and demonstrate critical thinking through the use of lean methodologies to solve complex problems
- Coach and develop dynamic value stream maps to determine bottlenecks and constraints within processes
- Coach, mentor and teach the wider business on problem solving and lean methodologies to further develop a sitewide lean culture
- Drive the planning and implementation of model lines and cell redesigns,
- Demonstrate Leadership in problem identification and problem solving activities,
- Act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow technology,
- Drive the implementation of the lean strategy to reduce inventory, lead-time and waste at the manufacturing facility,
- Drive measurable improvements in productivity and product flow,
- Promote Lean Six Sigma integration utilizing strength of both methods to achieve business goals,
- Lead and/or co-lead site Lean initiatives and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements,
- Lead multiple projects driven from team engagement and site priorities,
- Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and support teams to complete projects
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Hungarian language knowledge is a must to fulfill this position!
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality improvement, (Including experience in Lean methodology and/or Six Sigma tools; ability to drive improvement actions while coaching employees through problem solving techniques)
