Model-Based Manufacturing Senior Technical Leader

The Model-Based Manufacturing (MBM) Technical Leader will work with MSE team and pyramid to define and integrate MBM strategy and roadmap with the GE Aviation Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) strategy and roadmap.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Have the responsibility to drive MBM digital platforms, processes, and digital tools, that enable the Digital Thread connected Model-Based ecosystem to accelerate manufacturing engineering process design cycle.
- Map status and work with internal stakeholders and organizations to implement processes, and digital tools that enable re-use and consumption of the engineering data in manufacturing engineering processes.
- Collaborate and synchronize functional organizations to assure digital thread integrity
- Comprehend end-to-end process flow such as Bill-of-Process (BOP), mBOM, associative in-process models, CAM programming, work instructions authoring, NC code management, tool lifecycle management, machine & process health data acquisition, and machining digital twin.
Required Qualifications
- Applied knowledge in MBM component manufacturing processes
- Applied knowledge or awareness of MBE and Digital Thread concepts
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college with minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing PLM, Model Based Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering
Desired Experience
- Siemens Teamcenter PLM - Manufacturing
- NX CAM - Teamcenter Integration
- Familiarity with machining tools (CNC Machines, cutting tools, fixtures, probes, etc.)
- Tool Lifecycle Management
- Familiarity with downstream applications such as ERP, MES/MOM, etc.
