Inventory Planner (80-100%, all genders)

Tasks

The Inventory Planner is in charge of balancing the availability of spares for our different fleets and the underlying multi-million dollar investment.

• Analysis, adaption and execution of stocking policies in line with the current life cycle of the fleet
• ERP data mining to generate optimized re-ordering data
• Generation of what-if scenarios regarding ordering and availability
• Root Cause Analysis for overstock, low stock and stock failures and implementation of remedial actions
• Handling of overstock and surplus sale lists and liaising with external sales partners
• Initial Provisioning review for new products or fleets
• Inventory Planning focal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical, scientific or business field, with a few years of theoretical and practical exposure to supply chain processes
• Very good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• Advanced knowledge in statistics
• Confident and reliable with spreadsheet and database handling software
• Assertiveness, good communication and presentation skills
• Have a flair for technical topics
• Knowledge of SQL programming is an great advantage
• Able to master difficult and challenging situations
• Very good command English, German as a plus
