Roles and Responsibilities
As the Military Contractual Services Finance Leader you will:
- Lead the development, implementation and measurement of operation budgets and participate in their successful execution (Budget, Strategy/Long Range Forecast) for Military LTSA
- Ensure key processes and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation
- Partner with the Military Services Director to drive profitable growth and meet targets providing insight and decision-making support
- Participate in business deal reviews and deal approval meetings and keep senior management advised of material developments
- Communicate business performance and identify growth accelerators
- Partner with Military FP&A finance team for current quarter pacing & forecasting of key financial KPI (Revenue, Cost, Billings, CMR)
- Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
- Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, asset management, capital efficiency, productivity, etc.)
- Recommend and influence needed actions to maximize billings, collections, cost, profitability and risk management
- Lead the pursuit of excellence in controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, transfer of best practices, internal controls, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 additional years of finance, accounting, or audit experience
Desired Characteristics
- Prior experience in Aviation industry or other industry with Long Term Contractual Services
- Prior experience working with US Government and Department of Defense
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Finance leadership program graduate
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance Certified Public Accountant
