Technical Documentation Specialist

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring availability of all technical documentation required to allow that SR Technics can comply with aviation airworthiness compliance standards. This includes publishing of Airworthiness Directives, CMM verification and workflow handling, document editing and preparation for publishing, downloading of manuals and bulletins including revision control, publishing of engineering documents. He/ She will be responsible for implementation of Manual Change Requests for capability related CMMs. He/ She will be the single input for all quality questionnaires received from suppliers, vendors, customers and OEMs. The holder of this position will be responsible for approving Work Instruction, Checklists, Forms, Training Instruction and Flowchart in the Documentation Management System (DMS).
Your tasks
- Publish within required due date all EASA, FAA and ANAC released Emergency and non-Emergency Airworthiness Directives, Safety Information Bulletins, Preliminary Airworthiness Directives for specific Aircraft- or Engine-Types and AD Bi-Weekly reports by informing responsible Engineers
- Perform monthly verification of AD-related Vendor- and Service Bulletins according list provided by Engineering to confirm availability of latest revision in SAP-System (temporary on hold)
- Implement Manual Change Requests into Component Maintenance Manuals with inhouse Capability by starting and closing SAP-Workflow
- Responsible for the handling and data capturing of the necessary Aircraft-, Engine- and Component Maintenance Manuals
- Verification and upload of last revision of Component Maintenance Manuals from all Vendors in SAP DMS
- Upload of Vendor, Service Bulletins and Engineering Documents into our IT-System
- On time procurement and distribution of manufacturer / vendor documentation and revision control of these documents within the given IT systems (i.e. SAP, TechDocManuals)
- Approval and performance of quality checks of Work Instruction, Checklists, Forms, Training Instruction and Flowcharts to be published in the Document Management System (DMS) and linked to the Process Landscape
- Receiving and completing questionnaires from suppliers, vendors, customers and OEMs on behalf of Quality Managers
- International contacts with internal and external customers in relationship with Technical Documentation items
- Interface to all different units of SR Technics
- Ensure the high data quality in the area of Technical Documentation
- Knowledge of the relevant processes and act accordingly
- Work experience in Technical Documentation area is desirable
- Basic knowledge in commercial business in global company, preferably in aviation industry
- Good knowledge of SAP
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good social and communication skills; reliable and trustworthy personality
- Language: English Level B1
