Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Process tracking, metrics tracking. Could be degreed or non-degreed. Responsible for headcount and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision making
- Enriches functional managers or other functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures driven by operational and organizational data.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Leads or participates to engineering and business process improvement activities, developing and monitoring KPIs. Support ad-hoc business analysis for decision making, working with diverse functions, with the guidance from senior leadership.
- Develop custom insight reports from organizations data analytics, monitor trends meeting engineering objectives.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
- Discuss technical scope and objectives with Universities and align with TTC expectations. Manage relationship with academia and engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably industrial engineering, statistics or mathematics disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in relevant fields.
- Lean knowledge is a plus.
