Job Description Summary The Remote Diagnostics team helps solve our customers' toughest challenges; making flights safer for people and the environment. The team is creating a state-of-the-art engine health monitoring platform (FMX) working across GE Aviation to drive lifecycle management of engine health from detection of alerts, analysis software to issuance of customer notifications.
In this role, you will work closely with customers as part of a project team on the implementation of GE's FMX product. You will act as a product manager driving agile practices, product quality and product delivery for FMX platform which is the centerpiece for how GE Aviation's fleet support team as well as customer users manage engine health.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features of FMX platform
  • Own the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases
  • Own production system KPIs and improvement of them to be ensure business outcomes are met
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
  • Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Engage frequently (80%) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
  • Routinely collaborate with Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions
  • Be point of contact for all service level escalations regarding downtime of production system
  • Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
  • Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
  • Routinely collaborates with UX in design decisions. Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
  • Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
  • Owns the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
  • Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
  • Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
  • Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
  • Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.
  • Mentors junior team members.
  • Expert in Agile Methodology.
  • Education Qualification
  • For roles outside USA:
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years of experience
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical abilities, Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience with Rally or similar tools
  • Experience with industry standard design principles, frameworks and patterns
  • Good in handling conflicts
  • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles• Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with versatile implementation options
