Job Description Summary The Senior Lean Leader will teach and coach the organization on principles and tools across functional areas in order to drive cultural transformation resulting in improved performance across operational business metrics.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
  • Teach and coach teams on lean methodology, principles and tools
  • Partner with teams to develop lean transformation strategy for the organization
  • Lead projects/process improvement to execute lean strategy
  • Partner in overcoming business challenges and recommend best practices to improve processes and products
  • Influence the development of strategy in adjacent areas
  • Stay informed of industry trends that may influence work


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a lean leadership role driving manufacturing process improvement


Desired Characteristics
  • Extensive Lean Manufacturing background within a plant and operational leadership experience in a production / manufacturing setting
  • Hands-on experience with implementing change projects
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Strong communicative skills and ability to operate at multiple organizational levels
  • Deep understanding of lean and related areas (six sigma, TPM, TPS)
  • Solid business acumen with substantial leadership experience

  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn

    Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively

    Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed

    Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative

This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
