Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials through Erlanger according to production schedules.
- Plan and schedule production needs and assign work to material handlers across all shifts.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Work continuous improvement projects to decrease kitting time and improve quality of delivered kits.
- Develop manpower capacity plans for engine programs to ensure capacity aligns with future volume.
- Daily communication with assembly and fulfillment teams on production needs.
- Expedite critical orders through Erlanger.
- Develop technical expertise on use of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Understand truck routes and logistics between assembly sites
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution (OR a High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment)
- A minimum of 3 years in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment
