HR Business Partner, Aviation Systems - Avionics, Power and Unison

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead HR in support of business and HR priorities, with a strong focus on business operations, talent pipeline, succession and strategic workforce planning
- Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of human resources including all aspects of employee relations, talent and organization vitality, succession planning, organization design, culture and employee engagement
- Work closely with the organization and broader business leadership team to understand industry and market dynamics, and design and execute HR strategies and activities aligned with business priorities
- Engage in leader coaching at multiple levels of the organization
- Lead critical HR activities such as inclusion and diversity, recruitment and selection, people/data analytics, strategic workforce planning, talent development, career navigation, performance development, and organization optimization
- Provide support for compensation, benefits, training, EEO, compliance and other HR activities as needed
- Lead and facilitate change strategies and activities to drive a contemporary business and culture
- Lead and / or support Aviation or GE-wide HR initiatives as appropriate
- Serve as a coach and mentor within the broader HR community to support talent development and critical performance development activities within the HR function
- Lead functional teams and projects and present solutions to leadership
- Communicate complex messages and navigate complex organization
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in HR)
- 6+ years of experience in client facing and/or specialist Human Resources roles with increased responsibility
