Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as focal for the overall quality of the conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, and inspection of production engines
- Recommend changes to procedures to lead process improvements
- Coordinate with engineering on manufacturing related issues
- Lead Investigations related to quality issues - create 4 blockers describing investigation/action status - present to plant leader at bi-weekly quality meeting
- Identify/implement corrective actions for quality issues
- Support engine sickbays
- Update/create quality procedures
- Conduct quarterly workstation audits
- Serve as focal for internal and external audits (DoD, DNV, FAA, etc.)
- Support and Lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis events
- Investigate/answer all product related quality concerns
- Support Quality CCC, present quality metrics
- Input and influence decisions within own discipline and area
- Work on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processes
- Solve issues and develop new and innovative approaches to problem solving
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Quality
