The EasyJet Technology teams are a little like our planes, there are many moving parts, so making sure it all works seamlessly is really important.
We're currently looking for a Test Manager to join the easyJet testing community.
Our Test Manager will be the champion of quality for Data Engineering and the Enterprise Integration layer that is the glue that connects all of easyJet's core systems.
The QA community is highly collaborative and works across a broad range of stakeholders within Technology, acting as ambassadors for quality to help create a culture of quality and adherence to our established QA standards and practices
You'll work with stakeholders across the business to ensure that a common technology architecture framework is defined and adopted across the organisation.
At easyJet, we have a hybrid working model which sees our staff working from home, and visiting our offices in Luton once a week.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
> Responsible for defining and implementing the test strategy across the Data and Integration function and championing adherence to it
> Responsible for defining and implementing the Test Automation strategy across Data and Integration
> Responsible for reporting on agreed quality KPI's within the team
> Responsible for implementing the shift left test approach and tooling to support this
> Responsible for managing End to End test activities that span across multiple teams inside and outside Data and Integration group
> Responsible for allocating and tracking progress of prioritised tasks within the team and across 3rd parties
> Provide overall quality assurance against all testing completed
> Provide clear communication of test status, issues & risks and escalate appropriately
> Effective management and minimisation of costs associated with QA including tooling, environment, supplier and contractor costs
> Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the teams
> Management of suppliers of testing services for all quality and testing activities applying best practice vendor management to assure quality and productivity
> Champion quality practises across the teams and continually look for opportunities to improve the way in which the teams work
> Build a team that is passionate about all things QA and strives to keep ahead of changes within the industry
> Proactively ensure the continuous development of people within the team through strong line management and the support of their Personal Development Plans.
> Key member of the Test Managers Steering Group, defining standardised Test practices across EasyJet Technology
> Active member and advocate of the internal Testing Community to drive knowledge sharing and common good practice across teams
