Tasks

Your responsibilities and duties may include the following:
  • Evaluation of digital 3D data and dimensional information to define measurement strategies for complete modelling of turbo machinery parts.
  • Working with 3D CAX Systems, drawings and parts hardware.
  • Description of geometrical characteristics of the respective parts to capture all geometric features of the parts.
  • Working with 3D Computer Aided Engineering Systems.
  • Creation of parametric 3D CAD Models by concurrent engineering.
  • Execute Design Reviews and Design Freezes in interaction with project management and shop floor engineering.
  • Quality inspection by nominal/actual value comparison using 3D-CAD Models and measurement data from hardware.

*All other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
  • Advanced skills in using of CAX applications (e.g. Unigraphics NX).
  • Advanced knowledge in design methods and principles.
  • Analytical and accurately working methods.
  • Proven advanced English.
  • Good skills in usage of MS Office.
  • Degree in mechanical engineering, aircraft propulsion systems or similar technical degree.
  • Intercultural adaptability.
  • Advanced English.
  • High trustworthiness (respect corporate philosophy of LHT).
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Experience in the field of repair development desirable.
  • Knowledge in Reverse Engineering desirable.
  • Willingness in working at different international location.
  • Capable to work on computer screens (eyesight test).
  • Ability to work under pressure.
