Excel have a new opportunity for an aviation\/engineering based Quality Engineer join our globally renowned customer on a permanent basis in the South of the UK as part of their continued plan of growth.
We are looking for a Quality engineer to undertake assurance and compliance activities which will include performance process, product and compliance audits across the operations and capabilities of the company. This position will encompass all areas of quality assurance including but not limited to:
  • Supporting the QMS and product investigation cycle
  • Ensuring planned corrective and preventative actions are implemented
  • Management of Quality assurance documentation
  • Management of Regulatory and Customer approvals
  • Provision of statistical analysis of Quality Performance
    As you would expect in this position communication with customers, internal management and staff across all departments is key - as is an eye to detail and a comprehensive knowledge of working quality practices.
    You will need to have a solid background within Quality Assurance, and a qualification in undertaking audits as well as an understanding of various regulatory guidelines including EASA\/CAA Part 145, CAMO, MAOS and DAOS. Due to the nature of the business knowledge of aviation maintenance repair and overhaul will be important, as will experience with the application of AS9100 or AS9110
