Tasks

As part of our team, you take over an essential role within the TechOPS & Aircraft team and form an important interface not only within Discover but also to our Lufthansa Group internal and external partners.

Your tasks:
  • Holding responsibility for the engineering of our fleet
  • Ensuring that our CAMO meets the regulatory requirements of active control & direct involvement together with you team & in close contact with our engineering service providers Lufthansa Airline and Lufthansa Technik
  • Checking the modifications required on our aircraft in accordance with the official regulations & approved documents
  • Conducting reliability data analyses & developing measures for continuous improvement within the scope of the reliability review; working out proposals for the further development of our maintenance program
  • Acting as the contact person for engineering questions to the maintenance organization, flight and ground operations and the manufacturers

Requirements
  • You share our passion for the job and are customer focused
  • You enjoy getting involved, developing your skills and exploring new ways of getting things done

  • You have a university degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical) or computer science and/or have appropriate work experience in a corresponding field of activity
  • The aviation legislation (Part CAMO / Part 145) is a familiar framework for you
  • You have experience and knowledge in aircraft engineering
  • You are familiar with AMOS, manage/m, Netline OPS++
  • You have a strong sense of commitment & resilience
  • You can quickly grasp tasks & work out solutions
  • You enjoy working in a team where your communication & negotiation skills and assertiveness contribute to our mutual success
  • You are fluent in German and have good English skills (B2 equivalent)
  • You are willing to develop your professional skills
  • You bring energy & fun to develop the TechOps of Discover with us
