Job Description Summary The Senior Staff Manufacturing Readiness Project Leader will lead efforts to advance key enabling technologies in support of Edison Works Supply Chain and Manufacturing.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Design and Systems Engineering to implement Model Based Manufacturing within Edison Works internal shops and with strategic external vendors.
  • Partner with external Customers to introduce efficient and effective data management tools to enable lean and flexible manufacturing processes.
  • Benchmark best practices within the Industry and drive improvements within Edison Works Supply Chain.
  • Mentors junior Engineers and Technicians
  • Initiates activities to reduce cost, reduce cycle time and improve quality.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Process development

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance


This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
