Reporting to the Digital Analytics Manager, the Lead Digital Analyst role sits within the Analytics team and will be responsible for delivering advanced analysis, developing the Web Analytics capabilities of the team, and supporting the manager with strategic initiatives to drive the Analytics team - and the business - forward.
As an expert in Digital Analytics, you will work across our successful brands, spotting opportunities to improve insight, efficiency and revenue through our digital infrastructure. This hands-on role, will require you to build strong working relationships across a number of internal teams, supporting work with our Ecommerce team to drive the roadmap for personalization, working with our UX team to understand customer interactions across our online estate and working with our media teams to optimize targeting and spend. We are a fast-paced business and this role will require the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. As a business we live and breathe data, it will be your role to work with the Digital Insight Analysts to bring the stories in this data to life; confidently presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
We are looking for a person who has a passion for developing people, in addition to driving forward their own knowledge and skills. A natural influencer, strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will have extensive experience (3+ years) in a Digital Analytics role (client/agency side), having used Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager (or equivalent) for a large brand. Google Big Query experience and a working knowledge of SQL would be beneficial for this role.
You will lead the analysis function, line managing and developing analysts, whilst seeking opportunities to develop the analytics environment. Also, you will help to define the process for working with digital data that is currently housed within BigQuery, ensuring this is usable by wider Analytics, Performance Marketing and Data Science teams. Additionally, you will report and analyse over £75million of spend across Customer Acquisition channels - PPC, SEO, Display - and the user behaviour of over 150million sessions across complex user journeys that ultimately deliver over £1.5billion of revenue across the Jet2 .com and Jet2holidays digital assets.
