Currently seeking a security/privacy engineer with 7 years of experience who will have direct impact to the success of an innovative cloud based unmanned aerial and autonomous flight operations ecosystem.
This position is responsible for the security of a set of UAV/drone operations management products. As a security engineer, the focus will be upon developing security and privacy requirements derived from the product requirements. This resource will be responsible for security reviews, identifying security issues, and providing recommendations. This individual will be partnering with the product team to understand product requirements and build security requirements. You will also work closely with engineering teams to discuss software design, architectures, data models, customer data, data logs, auditing, etc., and offer solutions to minimize the security risks within our systems.
As a member of a cross-disciplinary software engineering team, you will engage in the development of a commercial system that will service multiple customers who seek to employ aerial autonomous systems in a variety of industry sectors. As a whole, the engineering team members will work in tandem to coordinate efforts with other teams with complementary expertise. This individual will be impactful and thrive in an environment that emphasizes strong collaboration between engineering teams, product/business managers, end users, and internal/external partners.
