To ensure business applications are maintained in a timely manner and to the correct quality. Provide a first point of contact for technical support of business applications.
Systems Administration / Support
Own the process for executing all system administration tasks. Review daily logs and reports to ensure integrations etc are completed in a timely manner. Escalate any risks or issues around these tasks.
Provide a first point of contact for 3 rd line systems support for business applications. Triage issues and ensure they are allocated to the correct team, resolve if possible.
Manage Service Requests logged for business applications and ensure they are delivered to the required SLA's.
Working with Senior Technology Analysts to assess the business risk of change and agree the correct testing approach. Own the testing of high risk changes within the business applications.
Own the required test environments across the HR & Finance systems, ensuring they are maintained and fit for purpose.
Manage Supplier / Vendors
Ensure all 3 rd party suppliers understand their involvement in the execution of any system administration or testing activity
Maintain a repository of knowledge around the assigned systems, both for IT colleagues and materials for the business, including training collateral. Specifically, all relevant IT processes, checklists, designs and other relevant knowledge is comprehensive, and is maintained up-to-date.
Super User Education
The role is responsible for identifying and communicating system functionality changes to the business super users
Support the maintenance of the Technology roadmap ensuring upgrades are scoped and implemented with no unexpected business impact.
