What you will be doing
Manage and develop all safety and compliance data, analysis and activities within Ground Operations
Manage, create, align and improve management information including reports and dashboards produced to report all supplier, customer and operational data and analysis with specific emphasis on Ground Operations Safety and Compliance.
Perform analysis to detect operational and performance related trends at all airports to enable strong oversight and support safe and compliant operations with Ground Service Providers.
Determine the root causes of operational and Ground Safety related issues and investigate appropriate remedies for effective corrective and preventive actions.
Proactively manage the departmental self-assurance activity ensuring accurate and optimal processes, procedures and manuals are in place and adhered to across the Ground Operations Team.
Establish a positive working relationship with the colleagues within the Ground Operations Support team to deliver standardisation and consistent focus across the TUI Aviation Regions.
The administration and accurate recording of all safety related reports and audits within the relevant systems and delivery of all Ground Operations reports, analysis and data as required for regulatory, safety and compliance action groups.
Monitor regulatory changes, information and industry best practice to ensure safe and compliant Ground Operations throughout all policies, procedures and manuals.
Provide dedicated safety and compliance support and oversight across all Ground Operations activities in the Nordics, UK, Ireland and the respective destination airports whilst working cross functionally with the wider Ground Operations Support Team.
Support the Nominated Postholder for the Northern Region Airlines with regulatory responsibilities by ensuring a clear oversight of all safety and compliance requirements across Ground Operations in these regions.
Participate in operational On-Call and Emergency Response (ERP) rosters as required
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a similar analytical role where you have been working with large data sets
Experience with at least one of the aviation operational categories (Engineering & Maintenance, Airline Operations, Customer Operations, etc.) is desirable
Be business/commercially oriented and have a business/IT hybrid profile
Have strong numeric, analytical and problem solving skills with eye for detail, at the same time as maintaining an overview
Have good PC skills with an advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, knowledge of Oracle, SQL and TIBCO Spotfire is a premium
Able to work under pressure, always innovating, in a rapidly change environment, prioritising accordingly
Be self-motivated to get things done, taking initiative
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Have good project management skills and experience
Able to easily develop a strong network of contacts throughout the business and industry, gaining the support and commitment of key players on key projects
Able to challenge assumptions and to think ‘out of the box’
Proven experience in effective data mining
Have a good knowledge of English, knowledge of other languages is desired but not essential
Having a bachelor degree, in business management, economics, statistics, aviation or computer and information science would be advantageous
Ability to travel regularly to Europe when required
