Reviewing Crew Fatigue Safety Reports and assessing incidents and near misses, you will ensure the provision of a comprehensive response, as well as the collation of information and the identification of trends used by management for strategic decision making in theFatigue Safety Action Group (FSAG). You will promote theJet2 .comJust Culture andthe anonymous, confidential reporting facility, in accordance with Company's Safety Management System.
In addition, assisting in the design and presentation of training material for Fatigue iscriticalto the success of this role.
The successful candidate will have previously operated asCabin Creworas a Pilot, and will therefore have a good understanding of operating a flying roster. You will have a strong knowledge of the aviation industry and will demonstrate a logical and analytical approach to problem solving. As the focal point forCrew Fatigueyou will be approachable and empathetic whilst offering a high level of discretion andconfidentiality. TheFatigue Safety Investigatorwill also haveexcellent IT skills,particularly with MS Office applications and It would also be desirable if you are able to demonstrate experience of managing a database, preferably within anAirline Operations or Safety environment.
After a period of training, it is expected that this role will work on a rostered shift pattern - 4 days on, 4 days off.
