Excellent time management is essential in this roleas you will be expected to visits all airports within your area weekly to perform checks, repairs and servicing as required.You will identify and report defects, ensuring auditable paperwork is completed and submitted accurately and on time. By co-ordinating with our main contractors on each site you will ensure that Jet2 .com equipment is compliant with both local and industry regulatory requirements, including CAP642 and LOLER. You will also respond to breakdowns of equipment at our other stations, sometimes at short notice, ensuring the consistentoperational efficiencyof our equipment is maintained. This role will predominantly cover the Midlands & Essex, however travelto any of our stations within the UK and internationally may be required.
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in electromechanical repairs and servicing of GSE, light commercial vehicles and plant equipment. With up to date knowledge of current health and safety principles we are looking for someone who shares Jet2 .com's passion for delivering the highest standards in safety. You will be required to work under your own initiative, so it is vital that you have excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively communicate information as required.
